Is 2020 getting you down? Don’t worry, us too. But hey, that’s not stopping us from putting on a show. I’m not just talking about any other show, I’m talking about the best show you’ll ever watch in this blessed year - the LTU Revue 2020: All Kinds of Chaos!

Imagine a quarter pounder, but instead of meat, it’s everything that happened this year, and instead of buns, it’s the amazing wonders of comedy. So, invite your parents, ask your siblings, seek your friends, call your enemies, summon your UberEATS delivery person, I’m running out of synonyms for invite. It might be the end of the world, but it’s never too late to watch an extravagant online performance.

From conception to delivery, Lakshmi was a key part of this project, writing, directing, editing and performing in numerous sketches.
This project was created entirely remotely during Melbourne's second Coronavirus lockdown.
The News Corp Guide to the Bushfires!

'Trudy Appauling' takes a satirical look at how to report on the summer bushfires in the style of everyone's favourite media conglomerate, News Corp.
Written, filmed and edited by Lakshmi Ganapathy.

Imagine

"For this year's Revue, we created a parody of Gal Gadot's infamous rendition of 'Imagine', incensed by the university’s proposal to destroy La Trobe Student Theatre, and the continual, thoughtless way in which institutions devalue the arts as evidenced in Education Minister Dan Tehan’s HECS fee changes.
Given LTU's recent proposal to cut courses in Arts and Humanities, we thought it fitting to release this as a separate video.
The video features numerous alumni and current students, and is a testament to the compassionate, vibrant and resilient creative community that exists here at La Trobe."
Created and Edited by Lakshmi Ganapathy.
